It's built with Quantum's PT Low-Profile Design, with a structurally advanced aluminum X-Frame that's super-light, yet super-strong, with a tethered Gull Wing side cover and full Saltguard Protection. In addition, the KVD Smoke S3 is equipped with an oversized 35.5 mm micro-tuned spool to enhance long-casting, with retrieve ratios up to 8.1:1; it also features micro-adjustable ACS™ 4.0 cast control for precision external fine tuning. Zero Friction™ internals include computer-designed PT Gears with bearing-supported pinion gear for near-effortless retrieves.
